Call for applications - conference for PhD students

The Postgraduate Doctoral School of Law and Political Sciences of Széchenyi István University (Győr, Hungary) organizes a conference for PhD students under the title and the aegis of the conference entitled V. A jogtudomány sajátossága (V. The Peculiarity of Jurisprudence).

Date of the Conference: 13 December, 2018 (Thursday), 1.00 p.m. till 5 p.m. (lunch begins at noon).

Venue: Hungary, 9026 Győr, Áldozat utca (str.) 12.

You can apply to the conference in 3 forms:

  • Only oral presentation (free)
  • Presentation and conference paper for the proceedings (8000 HUF ca. 25 EUR)
  • No presentation just conference paper for the proceedings (8000 HUF ca. 25 EUR)

 The papers will be published in the conference proceedings called “Doktori Műhelytanulmányok 2019” (“Doctoral Working Papers 2019”). The deadline of submitting the papers: 31 March 2019.

The Conference is funded by the Ministry of Justice, programmes aimed at raising the quality of legal education. So the participation is free, including the lunch, but the cost of publication is covered by the applicants. You can pay the publication fee after the acceptance of registration (after 20th of December) to the Foundation of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences: “Deak Ferenc Alapitvany a Gyori Jogaszkepzesert”, bank account (IBAN): HU 60 1040 0511 5052 6766 5250 1015. In the notes please write the followings: „SZE-AJDI conference proceedings.”

The organizers can’t provide accommodation for the participants.

 

Deadline for applications: 13 November, 2018 (Tuesday).

Notification of the receptions: 20 November, 2018 (Tuesday).

 

The payment doesn’t guarantee the further publication, the paper has to be accepted by the editorial board through review. In case your contribution is not published (e.g. due to failure to comply with deadlines or prescribed format, etc.), the registration fee is not refundable.
